Our Erasmus Mundus program "European Masters programme in Embedded Computing Systems (EMECS)" attracts excellent students from all over the world from year to year. It is highly reputed in a large number of countries. Now the program has been presented as an example of good cooperation practice between Germany and Norway.
During the German-Norwegian Dialogue on Bilateral and European Cooperation, the German Federal Minister of Education and Research, Johanna Wanka, and her Norwegian colleague Torbjorn Roe Isaksen agreed to establish tighter strategic cooperations between the countries' universities in the future. EMECS initiator and coordinator Prof. Dr. Wolfgang Kunz presented the successful EMECS concept and its benefits for students and partners as an excellent setting. EMECS is currently the only joint master program between Germany and Norway.
