Mohammad Asif Habibi received his B.Sc. degree in Telecommunication Engineering from Information and Communication Technology Institute (ICTI) of Kabul University-Afghanistan, and his M.Sc.  Degree in Systems Engineering and Informatics from Czech University of Life Sciences-Czech  Republic, in  2011 and 2016 respectively. From 2011 to 2014, he joined HUAWEI, where he was working as Radio Access Network Engineer. 

Since January 2017, he has been working as a Marie Curie Early Stage Researcher and Ph.D. candidate under supervision of Prof. Dr.-Ing. Hans D. Schotten at the Institute of Wireless Communication of Technische Universität Kaiserslautern, Germany. His main research interests cover software-defined network, network function virtualization, network slicing and radio access network architecture.
