Biography

Nandish P. Kuruvatti received his Bachelors degree in ‘Electronics and Communications Engineering’  from Visvesvaraya Technological University, India in 2008. Upon his graduation he worked as a software developer at Nokia Siemens Networks, R&D center, Bangalore, India. He received his Masters degree in ‘Electrical and Computer Engineering – Communication Systems’  from University of Kaiserslautern, Germany in 2012. Since then he has been working as a researcher at the Institute of Wireless Communication and Navigation, University of Kaiserslautern.

His key research tasks are on designing novel radio network algorithms and performing proof of concept simulations in areas of context aware mobility and resource management, Device to Device communications etc., which are foreseen as key enablers in 5G mobile communications.
Other research interests include: Study of air interface, physical layer security, development of network simulator concepts and visualization platform.
