Research Topics
The institute deals with the design and the application of intelligent, environment-aware systems und their embodiment by integrated, adaptive electronics and sensors. In particular, bio-inspiration is exploited for that aim. A major focus of the research is on holistic design automation of such systems. The activities are divided in two major research fields Integrated Sensor Systems related to Microelectronics/MEMS and Intelligent Sensor Systems related to Computational Intelligence
- Dynamically Reconfigurable Sensor Electronics
- Distributed Wireless Integrated Sensor Systems & Networks
