Master or Diploma?
You have the choice between traditional diploma courses or consecutive bachelor / master courses.
We care about your education and therefore for your future. For that reason, the University of Kaiserslautern has been awarded with the Prize for Excellent Studies in Germany.
"Electrical Engineering" and "Computer Engineering" are offered as two separate graduate courses with varying technical orientation. The sound basic education in the four-semester undergraduate program is followed by the graduate program with technical specialization in one of the seven majors.
The bachelor program offers the courses "Electrical Engineering and Computer Engineering" and "Communications and Media Engineering". After seven semesters a first professional qualification is achieved with the academic degree "Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.)".
Further qualification is possible in one of six majors of the master course "Electrical Engineering and Computer Engineering" leading to the degree of "Master of Science (M.Sc.)" after three semesters of regular study time.
With the "European Master in Embedded Computing Systems (EMECS)", we offer a nationwide unique master's program. You have the option of completing your studies at two leading institutions in the European Union.
