Research areas

My primary research interests lie in the control theory with applications to collaborative robotics, where new algorithms and cooperative behaviors need to be designed, to make robot systems to be more autonomous and to act intelligently in the future, given that today's robot systems generally perform predetermined tasks in known environments.

I am also broadly interested in variable impedance control and learning-based motion planning.
