For research purposes a Nissan LEAF and a Renault Kangoo Z.E are available at the University of Kaiserslautern. The electric vehicles are equipped with measurement systems for long-term acquisition of GPS data, CAN data and further sensor data as well as data transmission via GPRS and FTP. The electric vehicles are funded by the Network Electromobility Rhineland-Palatinate.
For research purposes two Wallboxes Rohde&Schwarz E-Power Station W900 are available at the University of Kaiserslautern. The wallboxes are each equipped with a Schuko outlet (230V/16A, 3.7 kW) and a Type 2 outlet (400V/32A, 22 kW). Control of the wallboxes is enabled by the Open Charge Point Protocol (OCPP 1.5) and proprietary interfaces. The wallboxes are funded by the Network Electromobility Rhineland-Palatinate
