The Chair of Automation Technology is strong in research and teaching.

At the Institute of Automatic Control in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering of the Rheinland-Pfälzische Technische Universität Kaiserslautern is a PhD scholarship available.

As a scholarship holder you can select one interesting research topic with high scientific potential and practical relevance in one of the following research fields of the Institute of Automatic Control:

  •   process monitoring and fault diagnosis
  •   cyber security and cyber resilience of control systems
  •   modelling, control and diagnosis of biological processes
  •   fault tolerant control of discrete-event systems


Your qualification:

You hold a Master’s or Dipl.-Ing. degree or equivalent degrees with above-average results in automation and control, technomathematics or related fields
You are interested in academic research with the aim of achieving a Ph.D degree
You are able to work in a team
