Who and what is the AG Aus

The AG Auslandskontakte is a work group of the Department for Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Kaiserslautern. It has been established in 1994 to coordinate the growing activities in the range of scientific exchange between our department and its partner universities. Bit by bit it took over more tasks and by now it coordinates the interantional exchange between our department and more than 15 Universities and furthermore we help other departments and assist their incoming exchange students. We are subordinate to our the deans office and Prof. Weiss as contact person respectively.

The AG Aus is run by four solely responsible graduate assistants, whose tasks (Erasmus (divided in our department and other departments), America, Apartments) are well defined. Many members have international experience, thus they know the needs of students going abroad to study in a different country for one or two terms.
