Application
At least half a year before you want to go abroad you should start with your application. Just come to our office (11-162) during our opening hour (THU, 18.30h to 19.30h) or write an e-mail. There you will get more information. Should there still be places avaiable for your favored university, your application can continue without any issues. Thanks to ERASMUS the application procedure within Europe seems to be very easy: The application can't be declined by the host university and there are no language skills necessary. Furthermore you don't have to pay any tuition fees and you will get a little financial grant. Moreover the application deadlines are very flexible which allows in many cases near-term stays abroad. The complete application includes:
- Cover letter (english/national language)
- Curriculum vitae (english/national language)
- Copy of transcript of records
- The 'Application for ERASMUS Students'-form of the partner university (you can get it from the partner university's homepage)
- 4 passport-sized photos
- Potentially confirmations about language courses
Furthermore we demand to become a member of the VFWA e.V.. This association is responsible for financial aid of the AG Auslandskontakte. A one year membership costs 6 Euros for students and can be cancelled any time. Of course we are happy about long-time members.
